In chapter 4, Stradlater asks Holden to write his composition for his English class and Holden “agreed” to do it. Ithink Holden can say no to people, even Stradlater. Holden did it because they are friends and he wants to help him. He also wants to prove to everyone and himself that he can write a composition in English. If one of my friends asks me to do something for them I would say yes. Because they are my friends and friends help friends. Even if Holden says he isn’t really good friends with Stradlater, he wouldn’t do a favour to an enemy. When he did this favour he thought he was going to get a compliment from Stradlater. Because has human you like getting compliments, it makes you feel powerful, because you did something right. My point is that Holden agreed to do this paper to help a friend and also in regards to getting a compliment.
In the book Holden is always out to get Ackley, criticizing him and also making fun of him. I don’t think Holden wants to hurt Ackley, I think Holden is trying to get his attention. If I was Holden i would act like him. I wouldn’t try to be mean to Ackley, I would try to get his attention. At first I would tell Ackley to take care of himself in a nice way, but if he would continue just not caring about himself, of course I would “make fun of him”. It’s not a sense of style to not brush your teeth or to put on trashy clothes. So maybe that is what Holden is trying to do, get his attention.
I don’t think Holden hates Ackley. He and Ackley are both outcast they don’t really belong into a group; they just live their lives, without caring about what people think. I think inside Holden wants to be a part of something. He doesn’t want to be alone. Because he is an outcast and Ackley also is one or the other has to be a leader. Which is true; in every group there is always a leader and Holden wants to be this leader of that outcast group. This is why he criticize Ackley to make himself look more powerful and to control Ackley.
I really didn’t appreciate what you did to me. I really felt violated, by you criticising me because of my essay. Look to tell you the truth I really hated your class. It was so boring, every time I walked into your class it felt like prison. This is why my essay was bad, because I didn’t pay attention.And of course I know my essay was bad because I wrote it. You really didn’t have to nag me about it. I don’t care if I did badly, if I am the worst student you ever had. All I can say is that I’m very happy to be leaving, so I don’t have to hear your nagging voice ever again. And seriously Egyptian, how boring is that…. Like no, that’s not me, I want to have fun not sit in a class and listen on how Egyptians built their pyramids. They are only a block of sand and rocks.

How are you? So I heard about the surgery you will be having tomorrow and I hope that it will go find. Oh no sorry, of course it will go perfectly find like come on you are Ryan. A strong person like you will be fine. We all miss you at Garnier, and everyday we pray for you to get well soon. So all our prayers are send to you. So ya Mr David told us to write a blog to say hello and to see how you were doing. I really hope that reading all the blogs will pass you the time from sitting in a bed all day.
So ya it must be hard on you and your family to go through all that. I remember when my dad had to have a surgery. Well it wasn’t a big surgery like you, he had to get his appendix removed, so of course it wasn’t open heart surgery like you, but it was still scary for everyone. I really think every surgery is pretty scary even if it’s a big or small surgery.
Well I really hope you are too bored over there, I hope you made some friends to pass the time. Or even a computer is good too; surfing on the internet can pass sometime.
So I heard that you made your fencing team loose by forgetting the equipment on the subway. Like you I’m the manager of the soccer team at my school. I really think you did an irresponsible mistake, but everyone is human, so we are not perfect. Look as human we all learn from our mistake and I really hope next time you have a competition you will tape on all of your equipment on yourself and won’t forget them.
To cheer you up, I really don’t think it’s your entire fault, you were lost. Someone could’ve have watched the equipment while your looked at the map. It’s a team; everyone should take care of everyone and everything. Well that’s what we do in my team. Even if I’m the captain everyone has to check if we have all the equipment, if we all know where we are going so we don’t get lost. Of course as a captain you have to double check everything.
All I’m saying is that you shouldn’t kick yourself for a little mistake. You were is this together so it’s mostly everyone’s fault.
So with my class we watched the movie finding forester by Gus Van Sant. So I don’t know if you ever watched that movie but I did with my class yesterday.
So for all the readers out there in sure you have heard about the Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger. So the movie that we watched is based on J.D Salinger life, and how he met this high school student and helps him to be a better writer. This high school boy was the only one to know about Salinger. The author, like you may all know, was afraid of the public especially after he got famous for all of his 3 books.
So my opinion about Salinger, is that how can you be afraid of being famous. I would love to be famous and have all the attention to me. How could he not know that when you publish a book you will not be famous? I know there are some authors who never got their work publish because it wasn’t good or it didn’t make such a big hit. But most good authors are published and get famous after a while. Also how can you stay in your house for the rest of your life? I would get so bored, like I’m already bored when I stay home one day, so for the rest of your life that is unimaginable for me.
Well I guess he was that afraid of the world that he didn’t get bored at all by staying home all the time. I guess it’s a person choice to stay in.
Well prom has been such a big thing for me. Because I’m from France there is no such thing as prom not even graduation. For that France is pretty boring they just mail out your diploma. Like how cheap is that seriously, I kind of felt bad for my parents who didn’t have any of that. I guess they are leaving their dream through me because they want to go all out. Between the prom dress, the grad ring and everything else that goes with graduating.
But to get back to my subject, prom dress shopping is going to be a big thing for me. Like you only have one opportunity for being a 12th grade beautiful girl. This only happens once, like your sweet sixteen where you are allowed to get your driver’s license. This is a once in a life time experience, even if it only 5 hours I want those 5 hours to be amazing, something I can remember the rest of my life. I want to show my kids pictures of that day.
So just to tell you more about me, I’m a princess girl. I would love to have a big puffy dress for prom. The things I don’t get are girl that just want simple short dress. Like prom is the only evening where you can actually wear a big gown without anyone making fun of you because you did too much.
Even if you have found THE dress you still get pressured by everyone. Are they going to like it? Am I still going to like it on the day? What if there was something better in another shop? Well for me, I thought about those questions for a long time. Don’t get me wrong there I’m sure I’ll be worried on my prom day. But if I show that I love my dress, and I don’t care about what else say then you will be good. Also I think there is always going to be a better looking dress because it’s more expansive, it has more details but at the end of the day you will be asking the same question.
So go with what you think make you beautiful on the inside and out and have a great time. Have the blast of your life because remember you will only have that evening once in your life time.

Well today I'll be writing about a bake sale that is happening this sunday at my school french church in Oshawa.
Y am I doing a bake sale you might be asking, well it's because some people in my school and y are going to the Dominican republic in march to see how they live, how much religion is important for them and to help the community with the donation we are going to bring them.
With this program some of the donation will go to teenagers who don't have enough money to pay the university, has we call it in French "parrainage universitaire".
This bake sale will be a part of the donation we are going to give them.
So if there is anyone interested in helping us please come at 9:30 am at the French church in Oshawa.

Hey everyone so it's me bloggergirl101 and well i was quicker on this new post then before because I don't have that much homework so I can write to you .
So well a great news is that I won an iPod touch at the college fair in Toronto and I'm very happy because I thought I was one of those people that never won anything so I guess I contradicted myself. Ahaha
So ok back to this post so in English class we are doing our section on mystery stories and, we read a couples Sherlock Holmes stories. To be honest I really like them because ive heard of him but never read his mysteries, because I thought It was going to be very complicated to read and understand. I know he isn't real but the guy is very smart I wish I could have so of his powers. Ahaha

Hey people on the internet, well it’s been a very long time since I wrote on my blog and I’m very sorry about that, but I have been very busy.But today I’m going to to a review about the book and the movie of Dear John. I’m pretty sure most girls have read or saw this movie.If some don’t know this book well here is a summary about it:
“Special Forces Army Sergeant John Tyree is home on a two-week leave from Germany. He meets Savannah Curtis after he dives into the ocean to retrieve Savannah's purse that had fallen off the pier. John is smitten by Savannah and falls in love at first sight. Savannah is a college student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is on spring break and is helping build a house for Habitat for Humanity. John joins in with Savannah to help build the house. Along the way a budding romance occurs, and Savannah falls deeply in love with John. As she is about to go back to college, she promises to write John overseas during the next 12-months until he returns to her after completing his enlistment. Their love is put to the test when John reenlists after the 9/11 attack.”
Well here you go that is the summary about this story. I can’t tell you more because I will reveal the end for you.
Well here is my opinion about this story; I think people should watch the movie before, than read the book and finally re-watch the movie. Because like most movies based on a book the movie isn’t has good has the book. But this story if you watch it, you will fall in love with it and you will want to read the book and know all the different details.
Ok so I don’t want to spoil the story for you but, some parts of the story are different in the movie than in the book. Especially the end is very different than in the book. From my point of view I think the end is the book is made more sense than in the movie, it goes more into the flow of the story but, it is a sad ending. So if there is anyone that likes happy ending movies than keep it to the movie, don’t read the book. But if you want a challenge than read the book, like even if it’s not the best ending it’s still a good book.
Well I know it’s been a long time since I wrote you, but I haven’t had that much time because I had a lot of homework and projects, but that is alright because I finish them all well except for studying for a math test that I have this Tuesday.
Ok well today I went with my school to the university fair in Toronto and oh wow there was a lot of people. I heard that there was a lot of people, but this much that wasn’t a lot that was.... well I don’t what is more than lot of people. Students were pushing to get to some booth; you had to wait like 10 minutes to ask a question and lots more. I don’t know how to explain it, but it was something you only do one time in your life.
Now I do believe that I’m a 12th grader it hit me today. Because I saw all those universities co petitioning for the most students, getting the students with the better grades, showing all the different subject they have, the campus, how big the classes are going to be. Wow it was a competition out there. All those students were looking at those universities to make their future happen. This is it; I’m the oldest one in the school I have to leave high school (well not now but in a couple months), to take a step forward in my future. The biggest problem now is that I don’t know what I want to do, or mostly in what subject I want to be in, and that is putting some pressure on me because I have to make this situation quickly before I end up having a high school diploma but nowhere to go. So not only I have the pressure to do my homework and get good grades, but also to search inside myself to find something that interest me and make it work.
I don’t know how my parents and teachers did it because I can’t, its too big of a desicion to make for a little me. Because if I do a mistake on not taking the right path, then I might regret it my whole life, and you only have one life, so better to make it work for the best.
If someone could just give me a magic globe to show me the way of my life that would be amazing, but that only happens in dreams. No one can decide on your life only you can (which is the hard part of all this).
Ok well there we go I’ll stop complaining. If you have any tips, or want to share a story about how you made your choice in life just comment in that little box.
Hello earth people I come in peace, ok ok I’ll stop because it’s not funny.
Well yes it’s me bloggergirl101 and yes here comes a new entry, well this entry is going to be pretty short cause nothing really happen to me these past couple days. It’s been the same boring old thing going to school, learning, and coming back from school and homework, yes I know pretty boring.
But no today my entry is going to be about lemons. HUH? You must be thinking, why lemons? Well I might have the answer to that question, (of course I have it I’m the one writing the blog) ok back to the subject. So well lemons cause I just notice that my family doesn’t like lemons has much has I do.
How did I figure that out, well to tell you the story I made supper today, and I made salmon with the cream cheese dressing that you see on the Philly commercial clip. To honestly say I’m not the best cook out there like at all, I would think a 10 year old could make better Mac and cheese than me. So yes back to the story. I thought I could spice thing up a little by putting lemon juice to make the cream cheese melt (it smelt really good). So when my mom came in the kitchen she told me to watch out to put water in the pan so the cream cheese would not burn, but other than listing to my mom I kept putting lemon juice every 5 minutes. While the salmon was cooking i kept putting lemon in the pan.
The funny part about this story is that the salmon had so much lemon juice in it that my family could not even take a bite out of it. They ended up eating a lot of rice for supper, and I had to eat all the salmon. Oh well that’s alright I like salmon and lemon so it didn’t really matter to me, I just had a food baby by the end of the meal.If you want to know how much lemon juice I used well it was about 250ml-300ml I’m not so sure, but that is still a lot.

Well once again it’s me bloggergirl101, and yes I’m writing a new entry on my blog. This time my entry is a little bit personal because I give you my definition of LOVE. Yes, yes ok I know if there are some guys reading my blog they won’t even read this entry and maybe never come back on my blog again because I’ll be to girly for them, but that is alright I hope the girls will enjoy this entry. If you do read this blog don’t judge it because this is my definition of love and not everyone has the same definition of love.
Well first of you must be wondering why an entry on love? To answer this question it’s not that I found love myself no, but I’ve been watching other people supposedly falling in love. I’m pretty sure the girls know which show I’m talking about, and yes it is: the bachelor pad. So I’ll explain to you what the bachelor pad is, I’m pretty sure everyone has heard of the bachelor or the bachelorette. If you haven’t well you are missing on some good reality TV. Well the point of the game is that there is one girl or one guy trying to find love on a TV show,15 candidates’ guys or girls from all around the USA will try to win the bachelor’s or bachelorette’slove by dating him/her of several weeks. After each week one of the candidates will go back home without winning the prize. At the end of those weeks only one will remained and get engage to the bachelor or bachelorette.
Well let’s get back to the bachelor pad, so the show is basically the same has the one I just told you about, but the difference is that everyone is equal there are no bachelor or bachelorette. There are 10 girls and 10 guys who are brought into one house and they have to do different challenges to keep themselves out of elimination, but at the end of the week someone has to go home. It might not sound fair but whatever all the show wants is to make money out of it. The show is even making a game out of the bachelor, (if you want to check it out the video is at the bottom of this entry).
Ok back to my subject, so last night I was watching a new episode of the bachelor pad and I was wondering how you can actually find love on a TV show.I think it’s all lies; all they want to do is gain the prize. Because seriously there is no privacy on this show and every time there’s a “new couple” the other ones try to break up. So ok I get that you can make friends but you can’t find love. This is when I started thinking about love what is actually LOVE? Well to find out my definition of love continue reading and you’ll find out.

LOVE, wow what can I say about love it’s such a big word that has a lot of different meanings. Everyone tries to find that feeling in someone special to them and share it with that special someone.But does love really exist? Since we were little kids we heard about that word from the grownups, and they promise that one day we will find it. But have they found it themselves? Maybe they promise us something that doesn’t exist. If love really exist how does it feel? Can you feel it? I would like to know.
But no one can answer my question because I think it doesn’t exist. It’s nice to say I LOVE YOU to someone but you have to prove it. You have to be there for the person, to care for them and to put them first before yourself that would be my definition of love.
Life isn’t easy even if you found that special someone that you put in front of yourself.

So today my entry is going to be about giving advice to a girl named Sara who just turn 2 this week, and someone has asked me to give her advice about turning into a child. Well first off Sara turning into a child is a part of life, a hard one because in a couple years your parents will ask you to do chores.
When you are a baby you don’t have to do anything and you don’t get in trouble for anything that you do, but now if you do something wrong they might get on your back and you might end up being in your room, and you’ll say I didn’t do anything wrong. Well I’m not trying to scare you off from childhood. There are good stuff about childhood, you get more freedom, so you can go outside and play with your friends and go over to your friend house and have a sleepover. You will learn new stuff like biking first with four wheels, but then with practice you will be able to ride with only two wheels and you will feel free, like the whole world is in your hands.
Plenty of other stuff you will learn like swimming, skiing, roller blading and much more, your parents will have the opportunity to teach you everything about the world and you will have so much fun
learning them.
Well I have to tell you one thing what I didn’t like about turning into a kid was going to school. Like I did hear about school before I started it and I didn’t really like the idea of being school because as your grow up the homework gets harder and you have less time to have fun and play outside.
The one thing that scared me the most was my first day of school, because you don’t know anyone and you don’t get to bring your mom with you. Even if we learned to separate yourself from our mom because she has to go to work and we have to go to the daycare, school is still not the same. Do not worry too much about it, when you come back home you will have a big smile on your face and tell your parents about your day; how you made new friends, who is your new teacher, and you got to play with all those toys. One of my favourite toys in school were the blocks because can build a castle out of it and then destroy it after wards. I remember that you can draw, paint and then you can bring them back home so your parents can put it on the fridge and be all proud of you. One other advice I have to tell you, if one day you don’t want to go to school don’t try the sick day, I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work because they know that you’re faking it. Because Sara even if now they are getting old at one point they were a kid too and tried the same tricks. Well Sara I hope I helped you with my stories and some advice about my childhood, but remember one thing learns from your mistake.
